Here at Treeline Print Co., we love the history and craft of letterpress printing. Our studio has a small vintage letterpress for stationery and small prints.

The press

Our press is a Kelsey Excelsior 5 x 8 found locally in an antique shop in Maine. In 2016 it was fully restored by removing decades of rust, giving it a fresh coat of protective paint, and replacing the old rubber rollers. Despite its petite size, it weighs nearly 70 pounds and requires a fair amount of arm strength to use.
